Both are essential
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@Lostpoet that's an old question. I didn't used to workout that time 😅

I've only seen good things about creatine, may as well take it. As for the protein, I don't know. Like obviously you need some good protein source but IDK if whey is the best for that.
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@BlueVeins I have never used those products or supplements. I generally eat plant based proteins.

@littlepuppywantanewlife I mean yeah, I've started drinking vegan protein shakes and they're pretty great.

my friend says all creatine does really is put water into your muscles to make them look bigger. whey would build actual muscles so I'd go with the whey protein.
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@Penny ok 🙂

Both serves a different purpose.
You need a little creatine daily. Whey Protein intake should be based on your current and future goal weight.

@HopelessGuy I am looking for a short term goal. Only little muscle building and being fit.

If healthy use both. I don't use creatine due to possible effects on the kidney and family history

@littlepuppywantanewlife Not for most people, I could be an exception hence my caution
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@BeefySenpie I just read. It's suggested that people should not take it for long time or big doses. Also it is not recommended for people with kidney issues. Seeing this I am thinking I should wait and increase my nature diet.

Whey. It has been proven high protein diets can affect you badly later on in life
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@Gangstress thanks for sharing. I will keep that in mind. 🙂

Just eat meat. You’ll get what you need from meat. Drop all grains including corn. Eat veggies and fruit. No sugar. You’ll get stronger. Need more protein? Eat more meat and drink whole milk
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@MrAboo I am a vegetarian. I generally eat plant based protein foods.
MrAboo · 36-40, M

Whey
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M
@DDonde any further information?
DDonde · 31-35, M
@littlepuppywantanewlife Do research, I'm hardly qualified to say. I just personally prefer not to use creatine.
