When assessing the quality of a person...

Is it better to assume the best about them or the worst? Do you subtract points (starting at 100) or do you reward points (starting from zero)?

I'm a cautious optimist. I start at 50 and either add or subtract.
As long as you don’t fuck with me. We’re cool..

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I was warned about you.
@SW-User it’s all lies from jelly biches 😇
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout so no physical ...only verbal right ?

I used to assume that everyone was good...and later I was many times shocked. Now, I watch how a person treats others especially whether they look down on anyone. That mostly decides whether I will interact with them or not. The quality of a person in general and the quality of a guy is based on how much he takes care of his kids if he has any etc. Zero care= lowest quality. Not for me

It is a line with zero being complete neutral and negative numbers being the amount of dislike.

@Doomflower Could be. I prefer to think in terms of a lukewarm reception- not a completely emotionless one.

@SW-User yeah. Idk. Neutral is a lukewarm sort of position IMHO.

I always assume the best. After all, people generally reflect the praise they’re given... or the negativity.
It's all down hill from the first glance .

I'm a realist.

I try to optimistic

I am a realist so I take everyone at their face value. How they behave with me matters the most. Idc how they have been with others. I always rate based on my experience.

I assume they all be hoes until proven guilty
SW-User
I try not to assume either way and make judgements based entirely on what I can ascertain about them.
SW-User
@SW-User I agree. Still, a new acquaintance deserves at least a lukewarm welcome.

@SW-User you're probably right. I used to be more like that. Time has changed me a bit 😂

@SW-User The right crowd is sometimes difficult to find.
