When assessing the quality of a person...

Is it better to assume the best about them or the worst? Do you subtract points (starting at 100) or do you reward points (starting from zero)?

I'm a cautious optimist. I start at 50 and either add or subtract.

It is a line with zero being complete neutral and negative numbers being the amount of dislike.

@Doomflower Could be. I prefer to think in terms of a lukewarm reception- not a completely emotionless one.

@SW-User yeah. Idk. Neutral is a lukewarm sort of position IMHO.
