Why should we give aid to African and Middle Eastern countries when they persecute LGBT people?

@S33K3R We didn't bomb Saudi,Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, or Uganda....

Each situation is different. I do know the general approach of the USA govt in that region is not to help but to destabilize through various tactics. Things over there were much better before we showed up and destroyed everything. I have done my research beyond the mainstream media. I watched documentaries people made in the actual countries, None of the ones you mentioned in particular. Limiting information sources leads to a one sided view.

@lorne13 I personally know many people who don't agree with LGBT people...and not a single one of them ever persecute any of them and would never harm any of them...they just choose not to associate with them. Most all of them are of a "live and let live" mind set.
