First week of the new job
I am so tired! It's certainly been a shock to my system.
First day was introductions and information on how the company works. There's me and a young lad who had joined straight from university. The afternoon we got our laptops and acess to systems.
Second day spent looking over shoulder of the girl who's training me. Then Thursday I'm set off on my first project. A load of questions but I get there. I was to give a presentation Friday afternoon. I put that together Thursday evening.
Friday morning therefore I was basically ready. I then did a bit of extra research and updated the presentation. I was so nervous about it but after a bunch of questions throughout I got to the end and the owner just said. "Extremely good. I'm hugely impressed". I'm made up.
I might actually make a success of this.
