I was never a morning person so the alarm was set to get me out the door. But I can understand your frustration and not wanting to be at work any longer than necessary.
@SageWanderer I'm just so used to being able to leave whenever, knowing I'll be early and just have overtime. Since overtime is not an option, I'll just leave 15 minutes early again.
@FoxyGoddess depends really on schedule and everything else. For me, I have a 10 minute drive to work. So I leave the house around 430am, get to the parking lot at 440am and I eat a bag of little bites, drink a small Gatorade bottle of 2% white milk and have a Boost protein drink. By the time I'm done, it's 453am, and I start my day at 5am.
When that happens I bite the bullet and go to office early if I have to be in office otherwise I do work from home. And I will take a nap at lunch or leave office early lol
@ThirstenHowl I get anxiety if I think I'm going to be late, so that is why I wake up as early as I do. If I slept longer, I'd be in a panic that I wouldn't make it to work on time. I'm one of those weirdos that shows up at least 15 minutes early for everything, if not earlier.
