No. I retired, and I have been actively recruited to work as a consultant in basically the same job. I ask the recruiters if they understand what "retired" means.

Not at all. I had been ready to retire for a long time. I'm glad I'm not longer working.
I'm my own boss now but when I had my first job in a solicitors' office, I hated every minute of it. Boring work and the staff were so up themselves.

Yes. It was more aligned with my skill set and schedule , more diverse, less weird and cultish but I needed more money so I quit.
