I'm heading a team of morons.

I come in to work for the afternoon shift and there are 3 separate complaints. I wish, I wish I could say the customer was over reacting but no.

1st case: My staff took a picture of a customer's credit card and sent it to a manager to verify if that's a card eligible for a store promo. (Sorry, did I hear you say wtf? yeah. Yeah.)


2nd case: An overcharge of $200 (How??)

3rd Case : 2 sales staff got into a very loud verbal public fight regarding poaching of customers. (Unprofessional much?)


I'm so happy I don't have to work with these dipshits soon.

My idea of a perfect job is to be paid $500,000 a year to play with puppies and kittens all day and hike to my hearts content, short of that I'd be perfectly happy to be shut away in a dark room with a single computer from 8:30am to 4:30pm, where I don't have to deal with other people at all in any capacity.

(2) sounds more reversible at least, but still..

1. Illegal no? I assume picture was taken on personal phone, surely a disciplinary/written warning.

2. It happens, I tipped £500 once, forgot to type the decimal point

3. I'd sack them both, no excuse or need for that

@TopCat 1) yep illegal. Staff got a disciplinary letter and had to write an apology.
2) How do you not notice such a big amount being charged? Also the customer was an idiot for not checking, takes two hands and all that

Find out why they don’t stay. Is it coz their salaries suck or their HR head is a twat.

No offence to you but a poor performance by the team usually comes down to poor management or a culture issue in the organization. They can’t all be morons.
