Who wants what guns?

@Thevy29 It's written into our Constitution, that we ALL have the right to bear arms. Personally, guns terrify me. The ex should not be allowed to have a gun, IMO...and there are plenty of really effing crazy people out there who also own them.
In most states, the law will not allow a person with a record of mental illness to BUY a gun...but there's the issue, right there. There has to be some sort of RECORD of mental illness, for the law to prevent the sale, and people go to great lengths to HIDE their mental illnesses.
AND there is no provision for things like relatives gifting guns to their younger relatives...which is how the ex got HIS shotgun.

@Thevy29 Mentally ill school shooters will break into their parent's gun cabinets, too, and steal their parents guns.
The shootings happen because of mental illness. When you take away guns, mental illness causes people to use their cars as weapons, or go around insanely stabbing other people.
