iwishuwerehere · 61-69, M
I’m from northern Wisconsin. When I was young -30’sF would happen most winters but about 25 years ago, on a snowmobile vacation near International Falls Minnesota, I felt what -43F feels like. It’s not good! I think that’s the coldest temp I ever felt
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
I don't remember what the temperature was —somewhere well below zero F. A friend ran out of gas on the way home. I went out to help. While we were dealing with the situation out in the cold, I felt the back side of my right ear explode. It swelled up, and over the next few weeks, it seeped and crusted and hurt like hell. Eventually, the dead skin sloughed off. Oddly, it didn't seem to leave a scar.

-5 for me in New Zealand at night. Had to get up in the middle of the night and put the heat pump on. Including having my small heater in my bedroom going.
deadmoon · 31-35, F
-30 in ND. Might have been lower than that, but I don’t remember if that -30 took into account the windchill factor or not, but that was a very pervasive cold.
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
@deadmoon felt. Lived there 3 years and happy to be in the south.
