No, but I'm used to it.

No, I loathe heat and humidity

I would prefer a climate where the temperature is always 15 C / 60 F to 21 C / 70 F all year long, with medium humidity (not too gross, not too dried out), with a perpetual light breeze, and sunny days alternating evenly with overcast days as I like the dichotomy (but always mostly clear skies on the night of the full moon, with some constantly moving cottony wisps of clouds passing beneath the moon)

If the temperature drops to the 15 C end of the range then foggy days are nice too, the humidity is acceptable with the lower temperature offsetting it

So the closest thing to ideal is a purely oceanic / maritime climate, like parts of coastal northern California
HumanEarth · F
Yes I do. I have Mediterranean blood lines and can handle the heat and humidity very easily
dareme · 36-40, MVIP
@HumanEarth Lucky you. As an Italian, I really hate it and I can't stand it. Maybe because I'm also Liechtensteiner and Danish 🙂
HumanEarth · F
I have Dutch and German in me as well along with Sicilian, North American Indian, and Mestizo
JustNik · 51-55, F
Humidity bothers me more than temperature, but even on dry days I prefer it under 80F.
Monalisasmith86 · 36-40, F
I ve realised I don’t like heat the aircon is on 16 Celsius and I’m still hot I’m sweating, I don’t like it
minoltaguy · 51-55, M
Nope. I'm British so I can't do heat. A North Dakota Winter suits me just fine.
@minoltaguy You would have made a bad colonial in, say, India or Africa.
minoltaguy · 51-55, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays True. I lived in Central Texas for 32 years. I got tired of the heat so I moved North.
dareme · 36-40, MVIP
No. My blood pressure drops a lot, I feel weak and I have to lie down all the time.
exexec · 70-79, C
Yes. It can't get too hot for me, but I can't stand the cold.
Achelois · F
I love it 🥵 ☀
No, I don’t. I’m subject to prickly heat if it’s too hot. Very unpleasant.
tindrummer · M
@bijouxbroussard You and me both cause where we're from. 😏
YoMomma ·
Yeah 😐 and i miss it already
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
I enjoy sunny weather, if it's hot out then so be it! 🌞
meJess · F
No, people get short tempered and it’s uncomfortable.

I've always needed a mix of weather to make my year complete. When it's really hot, I dress for the weather and I spend most of my time outside and when it's really cold and damp, I dress for the conditions but I feel no need to stand around outside!

Even in my condo up north in Toronto in the middle of winter, I'll stand at my terrace window wearing shorts and a T-shirt while watching the snow falling outside and the Canada Geese standing on the frozen lake, but I'll also have the heat cranked up so I can pretend that it's summer!

In summer, I'll stand at my terrace window wearing shorts and a T-shirt while watching the boats racing around in the lake just outside my window, but I'll also have the terrace doors slid wide open when the groundhog tells me that it isn't winter anymore!

Yes, I enjoy the hot weather.
I hate the heat and humidity here in the spring, summer and early fall months. It's oppressive and miserable.
Absolutely. Better than the snow we had yesteday.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Yes, always.
It's not ideal, but certainly much better than cold.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@NerdyPotato Absolutely not. I've always said that if you're cold, you can add more layers, but if you're hot, there's only so much you can take off.
@LordShadowfire there's only so many layers you can add before it becomes impossible to move though. And clothes don't add warmth. They only prevent losing body heat, but never 100%. If you barely produce enough to begin with, no amount of clothing will keep enough.

And taking things off isn't the only measure against heat. You can add wet towels for example.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@NerdyPotato Which only works for so long. Then you have to re-wet the towels, which requires moving in the heat. To say nothing of the fact that you're getting your furniture wet.
No option as I live in Australia

@OriginalNedKelly
Isn't that near Antartica?
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
I enjoy warm. Not necessarily hot.
Wiseacre · F
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
It's a lot more bearable than cold weather.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
I like the 70 degree weather of late fall.
Cigarguy · 41-45, M
Yes I hate being cold ❄🥶
@Cigarguy You tell 'em, buddy! 👍
Thinkingdeeper · 36-40, M
So long as there is a body of water nearby I can stay cool in.
thepeculiarpanda · 36-40, M
Not particularly. I love when it's in the 50s outside.
MethDozer · M
Nope. As someone who engaged in actual labor(real work) for a living. I hate hot weather. Sweating is the worst thing ever. It is absolutely disgusting after 78F

Cold is far easier to deal with than hot.
minoltaguy · 51-55, M
@MethDozer Yes I agree. I was clearing snow of a patch of grass for the dog and I was in a tshirt at 10degrees.
pdockal · 56-60, M
Without humidity
faery · F
No, I abhor it
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Dry hot weather is fine. Humid hot - hell no.
Bruja · F
No, I hate it lol
Monalisasmith86 · 36-40, F

I love the hot weather.
Horok · 31-35, M
How hot are we talking about ?
No, I'm like the wicked witch of the north.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Yes! I am definitely a summer person. 😎
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Oh, dear goddess, no.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Nope. I've got too much Danish blood in me.
@LordShadowfire You're a Viking?
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@FrogManSometimesLooksBothWays I can't honestly make that claim. Vikings were a specific class. It was a job held by certain Northern folk.

Although some of my ancestors were definitely Vikings. I've got that berserker blood in me.
