Storm Darragh

Has anybody been effected by the storm? It's windy here in the east but I'm certain nothing compared to what the west of the country is experiencing. My thoughts and best wishes go out to any of you that are caught in the eye of the storm.

We lost power for most of the day (Bristol). Kept warm and dry at the leisure centre where my daughter does her gymnastics 🙂

@SunshineGirl at least you were somewhere safe.

A bit breezy in Cambridgeshire and my recycling wheelie bin went for a walk😂😂😂. Otherwise not to bad

@Anniedlr the same here. My bbq and shelter have blown over too.

Surrey here. Quite a lot of wind, some rain but could be worse. I was out in it today on foot snd it wasn't exactly fun

was chatting to a friend in Devon - power kept going in and out - wind and rain were very strong.

It's blowing down a rotten fence at the side of my property and I was finally going to get round to fixing it this weekend!

@TheSirfurryanimalWales How was the night for you? Any damage?
@Gusman no damage apart from things being blown around the garden.the worst of the storm skirted around us but other parts of Wales got it much worse.
Even today Transport for Wales have cancelled virtually their entire train service because just about every line in Wales needs to be checked for fallen trees and flooding.
But yesterday our local bus services ran as scheduled.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales Glad you escaped the worse of it. Damage will be put right eventually. 🙂
