Sitting here topless in front of the air conditioner...

wondering how I am going to survive next week, when it will get HOTTER. My air conditioner and ALL my fans are running trying to spread out the cool air a little bit. My cat had a heat stroke yesterday. (He's okay now, thank you). It's 85F in here with the air conditioner running full blast day and night and 85F is the OUTSIDE temperature right now!!!! My bedroom where the cat is sleeping is about 90F.

@UnderLockDown Thank you. He is going to leave me on Saturday, so that he can get the medical care he needs...and eventually he will be be rehomed.

@UnderLockDown He is VERY fast, and VERY skittish, and VERY diabetic. He needs a Mommy who can catch him, or sneak up on him, at least, and give him his shots. He also needs a Mommy who can afford to pay $115 a month for insulin and syringes, $120 a month for kitty litter, and $360 a month for cat food. It's possible that the cat food and kitty litter expenses might gradually decrease, once he gets his insulin. But right now, he is always hungry, always thirsty, and pees buckets...and not always where he is supposed to.
