@Musicman We made the investment several years ago after enduring days without power after one hurricane. It has been a real life-saver through two hurricanes and a long freeze when the Texas power grid went down. Plus, we have occasional outages due to blown transformers and such.
Is it going to hit near Brownsville then skirt the coastline? Or will it turn inland towards the Valley?

@SW-User I live in the midst of the largest oil refineries in the US, so I don't expect they will be supporting EVs during my lifetime.
