Nope. Only the storms, when they come in, can make me feel that way. Storms make my wrists ache so badly I can hardly use my hands...and they don't do my back any favors, either.

@4meAndyou Rheumatoid arthritis episodes are energy sucking. The boswellia I started taking stopped that.

@cherokeepatti I know. I read when you talked about that, so I got some of that, too, and I've been taking it every day for months. It doesn't seem to work, but I haven't given up yet. Tried the Swanson stuff first, and then switched to a cheaper version from Amazon.

@4meAndyou Heard a doctor talk about boswellia. He said the most effective ones would have a higher boswellic acid level in them. If they don’t list that on the product then it’s probably not that high. And the optimal level of boswellia is 1200 mg. Per day. I have been taking 800 mg. A day. Ordered a new bottle from Amazon with the boswellic acid level listed. It costs more than Swanson’s but likely to be much more effective for arthritis and other inflammatory conditions. This is the one I ordered and just checked Amazon and it’s out of stock now. I guess I got it just in time before they ran out. There are plenty of other brands that are rated 4 STARS and above with higher levels of boswellic acid to choose from.

@cherokeepatti My new bottle from Amazon is from Double Wood Supplements 1000 mg per serving, and is also 65 percent Boswellic acid.

@4meAndyou are you taking it for arthritis?
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou Because it won’t work on osteoarthritis. I had to start taking Vitamin D and K2 for that and extra calcium.
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti For inflammation primarily, and HOPING it will help with my lower back and knees. That is osteoarthritis, and my wrists are tendonitis, and who the hell knows what's going on with my upper back and right shoulder. Don't think I want to know...🤣🤣🤣
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti I take Vitamin D3 & K2 every day, also copying what I saw you write. I don't take extra calcium, but I usually take about 6 antacids a day, and they contain calcium.

@4meAndyou Actually I watched Dr. Becker’s tv show this morning about Boswellia. They play it on Christmas because it was one of the 3 gifts the Wise Men gave to Jesus. Anyway he said it did help with osteoarthritis pain as well as rheumatoid arthritis, helps with emphysema and so much more. You can rub the oil on your feet for foot pain for example, and use the essential oil in a diffuser to calm down and help sleep if you are stressed. I am ordering some of that.

@cherokeepatti I have to cool it with herbal remedies for now. Microsoft hit me with a $106.71 bill this month, and as a consequence, I will spend next month playing catch up with the necessities.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou do you need Boswellia for inflammation?
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Yup. At least, I am TRYING to get it to work for that...but it hasn't really worked yet.

@4meAndyou Dr. Becker said it’s best to take with turmeric at the same time because it creates a synergetic effect that multiplies the effectiveness. Also Meriva turmeric is the most bio effective turmeric, it has higher levels of cucurmin

@cherokeepatti My keyboard is not functioning. Can type more on Saturday.
4meAndyou · F
@4meAndyou NOW the damned thing is working. It's really intermittent, though. R, E, and W have not worked all morning. I ordered a new keyboard. Anyway, I was going to say, I ordered a supplement for my back that contain turmeric and ginger and devils claw and a ton of other things, so that should do the trick.
