But having regained a homeland in Israel the one thing in their DNA is that it will never be taken from them again. The Israelis have been under regular attacks from their neighbours (often fundied by others like Iran) and they simply had enough this time and decided not just to push back and wait for the next attack, but to clean out the nest once and for all..This is going to be a disaster for the Palestinians who just want to be left in peace. But as much as HAMAS started this, Israel will finish it..😷

Genocide? You can easily argue a willful disregard for civilian life. You don’t need to drop a bomb to kill a single combatant. You can easily argue ethnic cleansing, as it is quite apparent israel does not care whether Palestinians stay or go, with many Israelis preferring they go somewhere else. Both are war crimes. Genocide requires a specific intent. I think both of the above show an extreme indifference to Palestinians, but falls short of an actual program to wipe them out. Btw, there is no “threshold” as to what percentage must be killed to be considered genocide, although killing one of every fifty is an alarming percentage.
