To paraphrase Mel Brooks, the Jews have been gods chosen people for thousands of years and they wish he would choose someone else for a change.. But having regained a homeland in Israel the one thing in their DNA is that it will never be taken from them again. The Israelis have been under regular attacks from their neighbours (often fundied by others like Iran) and they simply had enough this time and decided not just to push back and wait for the next attack, but to clean out the nest once and for all..This is going to be a disaster for the Palestinians who just want to be left in peace. But as much as HAMAS started this, Israel will finish it..馃樂

@Thinkerbell Well, maybe. And I say this knowing I am far enough away to be safe if it goes wrong. There is something about the idea of a Female POTUS that appeals to me. And she is a lovely color. It couldnt hurt Americas image in the world.. There again. I would have voted for Geena David in a heartbeat..馃樂

@Thinkerbell VP seems to be the training wheels for the POTUS job, so there is that. I was never impressed by Biden as Obamas VP to be honest. But thats political neccessity on your system I suppose,.Its onr of the resons I prefer the Parliamentary set up in Canada and here. To avoid the cult on personality and allow the leadership to be "upgraded" if necessary with a new party leader. However in the case of America I still have no idea who you would end up with.. There isnt a lot of talent just laying around..馃樂

@Thinkerbell You know. I couldnt argue with a word of that. He just looks good when you compare him to the alternative.. This cant be the best America has to offer. But I am starting to fear it is the best Americans deserve..
