Trump will not give a penny to fund the UKRAINE war if elected.

So said the Hungarian PM after his meeting with Trump. This would mean the war between Ukraine and Russia would be over in a very short period of time as Russia rolls right on through Ukraine into the rest of Europe and on to the US where Trump would great his comrade Putin with a big bear hug.

@BohemianBoo Much much lower Donald.
Perhaps he’ll do something that this administration has not done which is to seek a cessation of hostilities and start peace negotiations. Just like Biden is begging for from Israel while he has a chance to conclude an 18 million $$ deal on selling F-15s to Israel. Joe is not interested in peace. Never has been.
@soar2newhighs OMG. Do you not know that Ukraine and Russia have been at war since that annexation? The war was confined to Crimea, but it never stopped. Remember how Trump was impeached for withholding aide? That aide was given to Ukraine because of the war.
So no, the annexation was not agreed to.
@BohemianBoo No boo the Russian proxies in certain Russian ethically dominated areas of Ukraine were fighting Ukrainian forces. It is not what you’re seeing now. And as far as withholding aid take a look at corrupt Biden and his threats to withhold aid if a certain
Prosecutor wasn’t fired. I ask, do you remember that?

Of course not. Trump's donors are Russian, have been for decades. The only difference we will see if there is a second Trump presidency is that China will get a pass because Putin and Xi are now joined at the hip allies. It'd be four years of Trump going after the Democrats and dismantling the courts so they can't go after him anymore.

Of course not. He still owes Putin way too much money he cant afford to pay back. But this isnt collusion or corruption. This is Business, Republican style..😷
MartinII · 70-79, M
None of this is true. And please don’t believe what you hear from the BBC.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@ArishMell He’s un likely to lie. Trump has repeatedly stated that he would not fund UKRAINE if elected as POTUS.

Trump and Orbarn are political allies, hence Trumps visit to Hungary.
@justanothername Note my latest reply.
Ynotisay · M
@MartinII The poster led off the comment with, "So said the Hungarian PM." What else do you need?
As a side note, when Trump was in office he withheld Congressionally approved military funding for Ukraine. Do you know why? Because he demanded that Ukraine open investigations in Biden and his kid. It was big news. And it was true.

If we did not give a penny to fund any war after WW2, we would have saved trillions of dollars to fund free universal healthcare for all Americans including free education for all through university.

Constantly looking for enemies to fight is sick. Most people who had experienced the horror of WW2 have died off. We are the the new crop of human beings rearing to go for another all-out war.

Without Congressional approval?

Interesting. 🤔
Ynotisay · M
@Adogslife Well, it came from the mouth of autocratic leader and U.S. President's do have veto power on funding bills so...
Adogslife · 61-69, M
@Ynotisay Assuming the funding is a bill on it’s own and assuming the veto isn’t overridden…

Anti-Russian/Putin sentiments are pretty strong across party lines.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Is that how the BBC UK worded it?
Mysorebottom · 51-55
Youre dillusional
Ynotisay · M
@Mysorebottom Because they shared something that was real? Is that how it works?

The title of your post is a waddaboutism, you dimwit. The Chinese analogy is exactly what NATO did in Ukraine...except the western Ukrainian gov't launched a civil war against its own people in the east.

@BizSuitStacy The post is a report of what he said to the Polish President.

@soar2newhighs Yes green is good but there is still a lot of things to be worked out. Some green methods work more effectively than others.
@justanothername Well when the oil wells around the world dry up then perhaps the greenies. Can do their thing big time. And that may be a long time off. Point to remember are the two key players: oil (fossil fuels) and $$$ are the dominant ones right now.
justanothername · 51-55, M
@soar2newhighs Sadly true.
