Éirinn go Brách I have always loved mythology and folklore. The origin of stories about fairies and especially leprechauns, our most famous 'little people'. 'Leath bhrogan' are the cultural symbol of Ireland and their names translate from 'shoemaker'. because they... (...)
Living in a nightmareSome times I feel like my luck is so bad that it makes you feel like you're living in some sort of a nightmare. I don't mean the "we make our own luck" type of luck, but luck or bad luck that can't really be explained. It just sort of is.
What's the hottest Country you have been to?Well thankfully nowhere too hot, but Spain was 31 one day and when I had left the UK it was just 19 so a big difference. My neighbours said it was 39 once in Greece when they went which is far too hot I think.
How have you changed throughout your life? These past few months, I've been noticing how dynamic people can be. Some have lived a certain way for years, but now they're doing things differently. Some were known for one side of themselves, but now they're showing a completely different one.... (...)

Is it just me? Probably? I knew it...Feeling so aware that I don't feel anything, a state I fall into often. Just the other day I thought, is this disassociation? Feeling outside yourself, like a dream. If so it's been happening since forever. Being disconnected must have some benefit.... (...)

Meet Pigeon Bob I've never particularly liked pigeons until a very persistent one took a liking to me. He follows me outside, waits at the door, and peers at me through the window. I didn't feed him for a long time, as I didn't want to encourage him. Now I give him... (...)
How do I know if I'm some sort of depressed I'm having one of those hard days at work that forces me to reevaluate my situation in life. I hate my job and I feel like it's been my life for the last 7 years. I'm very competent but that's all I believe I'm capable of achieving. I'm not sure if... (...)

Macadamia nut cookies Just made a tin ready for when my boyfriend gets home. Pecan cookies are his favourite, but this time I added macadamia nuts instead. Whats your favourite cookie/biscuit?
What is one daily routine you cannot stop yourself doing? Mine is to clear my head before sleep, allowing me to put aside the day, otherwise things would be whirling around in my mind and sleep would be impossible. I read for a while, watch a tv show to wind down, in the summer a walk round the garden helps... (...)
