I learned how to parallel park today

Ah, perhaps we ought all adopt that vertical style in my street!

It is narrow (built at when cars were only just beginning to appear on the roads, and owned only by the wealthy) and we have to park where we can find a space on either side of the road.

Many residents park partly on the pavement, which is not really legal I don't think. As well as bad for the tyres and suspension. I don't do that, but my car is quite narrow.

You certainly need be good at parallel parking in streets like mine!

(No parking spaces on our own ground, except for just two or three houses.)
