Do you wish you could turn Your mind off?

Though not easy at times, turning from unwanted thoughts and habits, can be done by deliberation. We can train our thoughts, as well as choose them. We do know right from wrong. In this way we can take back our power that unwanted thoughts and habits try to claim. We are in control. Sometimes we have to be reminded of that. Doing what is right instead of wrong, puts us back in control and allows us to keep our power. It's sometimes takes practice. Some people don't realize they are still in control and that's why they remain enslaved to things. The first thing to ask ourselves when situations come up in our mind that try to tempt us, is: Is this something that will be good for me and benefit me in the long run? If not, then don't give your power away to temptation. Occupy and chose something else that will benefit your mind and your life in the long run.

I do, by sleeping. Well your brain is sort of off. It just plays a weird film.

Oh yes.....mine can go on a constant rotation of racing thoughts....it happens mostly at night!! 🙁
