Abandoned amusement parks. I don't know why they facsinate me.

I think it's that contrast of something that was once so full of fun and laughter now hauntingly sad and creepy.

I find a deep sadness inside seeing them. It's like a ghost town of fun lost.

Abandoned sites have a certain mystique, and no two are alike.

Amusement parks are an opportunity to explore the machinery behind these magic kingdoms.

But for me, the scene is always tinged with sadness. Coasters and bumper cars rusted and forgotten, reclaimed by nature.

Look up the Proper People. They did a video of Six Flags New Orleans closed after Katrina.

I find myself looking at stuff like this lots too. Sad to see somewhere that was once so vibrant and full of fun and joy being left to decay. 😟

They fascinate me too, and I think it is because they remind us of our youth when there were no computers, internet, online games/gaming, or cell phones. All the memories and fun had and made in our youth at them.

Then there are the Hollywood horror movies at abandon amusement parks, Zombie movies, and our need to explore and to reconnect with our youth.

But this is all just my thoughts Luv.

Why can't you just admit you're looking for all the coins that fell out of everybodys pockets.

There's a whimsical nostalgia to them, a feeling of happier & more carefree days.

Has a weird energy 🙃

The eerie feeling of a place where once thousands would crowd, now neglected, almost haunted by the memories of things that once were.

I'm surprised they allow that ferris wheel to remain up. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

I would love to explore something like that . I think it would be thrilling!
