Guys, I’m horrified.. does this look like it’s flea bites or from bed bugs?

Maybe bed bug? If you're using fleece blanket, you might need to use a magnifier when you clean it. In fact, do a thorough search in bedspace and living room. Better to use white sheets as the bugs are more visible in white.

You can google a solution for cleaning and laundry that kills them.

I had the same problem once. Made me stop using my favorite comforter for a while.

But also, you can google insects and bugs and their bites and compare, so you'd have better idea what bug it really is that is causing the pain. I did the same.

@Casheyane I watched a hotel makeover show and they’d always tell the owners to use white sheets, and solid pale bedspreads so they could detect bedbugs easier. The sad thing is that even though hotels change & launder sheets & pillowcases daily they only clean the bedspreads about once a week if that often….yikes.

@cherokeepatti Ouch. So far, I haven't been bitten in my stays at hotels. Though there was that one time in HK where the hotel was serving sheets with stain and we had to ask for replacement. Not very friendly, those folks.

@Casheyane I have heard that they are easy to catch or bring home in luggage if you fly, and international flights especially.

My bedbug bites looked more like hives, my flea bites were closer to my ankles.
It could be either, maybe something entirely different like an allergic reaction.

Better get a black-light flashlight and check your mattress and bedding carefully. To check for fleas you can use a flea trap which is basically a lamp that is small and has a direct shine to a basin or bucket filled with soapy water. Turn all the other lights off in your place at night (including the tv) and leave the lamp shining on the water. Should attract any fleas to the basic or bucket and they’ll jump in and drown.
Sorry to say but I've heard bed bugs bite in a straight line.

They look weirdly in a straight line down your leg which would make me thing it’s not
Maybe like a reaction to a new detergent that’s been grinding against your leg via your pants
Hard to say though

It’s nice to see you btw😊

Could it be shingles?

I'd go with bed bugs
Looks more like bed bugs considering the size of the reaction and where they are located.

Could it be hives?

Does it itch?

It's odd to be in such a straight line. Do you have many pets?

Looks like bed bugs. Do you live in Detroit?
