Maybe bed bug? If you're using fleece blanket, you might need to use a magnifier when you clean it. In fact, do a thorough search in bedspace and living room. Better to use white sheets as the bugs are more visible in white.
You can google a solution for cleaning and laundry that kills them.
I had the same problem once. Made me stop using my favorite comforter for a while.
But also, you can google insects and bugs and their bites and compare, so you'd have better idea what bug it really is that is causing the pain. I did the same.

@Casheyane I watched a hotel makeover show and they’d always tell the owners to use white sheets, and solid pale bedspreads so they could detect bedbugs easier. The sad thing is that even though hotels change & launder sheets & pillowcases daily they only clean the bedspreads about once a week if that often….yikes.

@cherokeepatti Ouch. So far, I haven't been bitten in my stays at hotels. Though there was that one time in HK where the hotel was serving sheets with stain and we had to ask for replacement. Not very friendly, those folks.

@Casheyane I have heard that they are easy to catch or bring home in luggage if you fly, and international flights especially.
