I'm hoping he meant the country would be in such a good state that no matter who you vote for next time things will end up alright. I don't believe he is capable of that, but if I were to give the benefit of the doubt.

I fear he means that he'll have cronies assigned up and down election commissions and judges appointed based on loyalty tests to himself that he'll be able to pick the winner while completely ignoring what the votes turn out to be. I don't believe he's competent enough to pull this off. But I find it much more believable that he'd attempt it.

Literally what he said

Nothing involving the democratic process, that’s for certain.

@bijouxbroussard The manifest intent to destroy the democratic process technically "involves" the democratic process 🤔

It means he will fix the remaining elections so that either he, or his hand-picked Republican proteges, will win from 2028 onwards.

How ironic from someone who claims that 2020 was stolen from him in a "travesty of democracy".

Now if Biden had said that, all hell on the right would break loose

He'll make himself the first Tsar of America and declare his kids his heirs to power.

With him, one never knows, but I assume the worse.

It's either a Freudian slip or dementia.

@Burnley123 i think he is slyer than you think. He knows exactly what he is saying, testing the waters!
