Pointing this out will do no good. I have pointed out numerous instances in which Donald Trump behaved very much as though he did not have as much money as he claims to have. I was told that he bankrupted himself campaigning for president to serve us all.
Right? Because he has sacrificed so much to be president - or, rather, nothing at all, since he didn't actually divest his interest in his company or adhere to the Emoluments clause, or any of the other norms that all past presidents have done to maintain the dignity and integrity of the office.
But don't forget he donated his salary (when pressed)!
