I'm not but just a thought. Even know you are not into sex. Have you thought about doing things with then regardless if you get nothing from it just to please and pressure them. For example I don't enjoy sucking dick. But I do it bc my boyfriend loves it. Even know I personally don't like it, I do and get reallllllly into it just to show him I love him and to please him. If you don't want to go that route then I would talk with the person you are with and have a understanding and common ground with them. I hate to say it but I doubt someone would give up sex tho. 😕

I'm asexual but I've never been in a relationship before so I don't know what that's like. 🤷‍♂️ I'd have to be in a relationship with another asexual, I would think.

@SW-User wow!! But emotional cheating is also but guess sex is vital for that sorta cheating as well
BadLion · 51-55, M
You chose to be asexual 😯
Anyway, it is not cheating, they are just normal.
@BadLion
Animals are not homosexual as far as I know.
Homosexual behavior occurs in animals. Why ? Like I said, they have no agenda, they’re not “rebelling” or “experimenting” most sexual behavior among animals is understood to be instinctive and not a choice.
According to Yale Scientific Magazine:
Currently, homosexual behavior has been documented in over 450 different animal species worldwide. For instance, observations indicate that Humboldt, King, Gentoo, and Adélie penguins of the same sex engage in "mating rituals like entwining their necks and vocalizing to one another."

@canusernamebemyusername I am not trying to pass a law or force something, I respect others but I have the right to express my own believes. I am totally against violence and hate.

It is the same like I love coffee and hate soda drinks
BadLion · 51-55, M
@bijouxbroussard could be true animals mate with same sex, I just quickly went through article on bbc but it was about observations of such acts. I still have to read more about this.

You shouldn't be in romantic rationship if you aren't into sex.. because for them thats more or less half the reason they bother with being in a relationship at all.
MiserableAtBest · 22-25, F
I’m not asexual, but I’m sorry people have taken you for granted in the past.

Love is more than sex, but some people don’t see it that way, which is understandable. That being said, cheating is never the right thing to do under any circumstances. If they know they cannot handle a relationship that doesn’t involve sex, then they were irresponsible for even getting into one or not ending it beforehand. That’s on them, not on you.

Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
@SW-User huh? What's marriage gotta do with cheating
SW-User
@Donotfolowme You get focused fully and do not let anything get in the way.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I'm sorry, it's awful to be cheated on. Sounds like you sohuld find a partner who is also ace.
YoungPoet345 · 26-30, F
No, but being asexual is normal and I accept you.
Wait I thought asexual is when you’re not attracted to others like that. Is that wrong?
StormyChan · 31-35, F
No, you can have romantic feelings for someone but not care for sex. That's how I am.@DecafD
@StormyChan ooooooohhhh!! Thanks that explains a lot
chrisCA · M
If someone is asexual, I am not surprised they would get cheated on.
Donotfolowme · 51-55, F
I am A very sexual 😐
How do you define “asexual” ? How do you define “cheating”, for that matter ? I’m assuming nothing, but I know I’m not asexual.
StormyChan · 31-35, F
@bijouxbroussard I guess I'm better off finding someone else that is asexual because every guy I've dated moved on quickly because I don't care to have sex.
chrisCA · M
@StormyChan That would be rough on a partner.
@StormyChan Yes, I could see where that would be incompatible longterm unless you had a special “arrangement “. 🙁
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
I don't think that's a bad thing about being asexual. Your partners are the ones doing the bad thing.

You need to make sure you communicate your asexuality up front. If they can't handle it, it's on them to communicate that with you and either end things or come up with mutually agreed solutions.

It's not your fault someone else cheats, it is their fault for refusing to communicate before it gets that far.
