Which are you more afraid of: Spiders or Snakes?

Spiders, only because we don't have many snakes in the UK and only one of them is poisonous as far as I know.

I live in Oregon and have encountered rattle snakes a few times. I am OK, when I can see the snake. But when on a hillside of rock... with the snake buzzing... and you can't see the snake... pretty scary. The snakes are usually fleeing you... however.

Snakes. Recently, after an influx of flies in my room, I've developed a lot of appreciation and respect for spiders.

I've always been a little afraid of spiders, especially those of a certain size. My capturing one to put outside might be sort of amusing to see, if anyone was watching.

I'm not really afraid of either. I've caught snakes ever since I was a kid, and I like them. I don't like spiders.
