These days Affordable Housing is a misnomer. Affordable housing is suppose to be affordable to medium/low income households. You're right when you wonder if these things mainly pertained to "Boomers" Because back then, the Affordable Housing index was set at No more than 3 times your income So all workers could afford to buy a house with very little stress. Today, Capitalism has made sure that House prices average 8 to 10 times a persons income. There is no way the Housing index return to Boomer Index. The Banks/Lenders are making too much money to let it slide.
They were brainwashed in the 80's during the Reagan election that it meant "too much government involvement" by the elite of America who then carried on screwing everyone like they always have but didn't have to worry about keeping anyone but themselves in health and housing.
So you're the change, don't be brainwashed. Demand health and affordable housing.
Affordable housing a and healthcare is thought to be a bad idea on the red side of the aisle. I wish I could get the same insurance as the Senate. Preexisting conditions no problem, no premiums to pay. Expires at death . But working class people.... I guess don't deserve that kind of coverage.
@SW-User I saw a picture once of a newborn in the refrigerated section. The caption below said if you can't afford it put it back. I know it's a groaner
