Democracy in the dictionary describes it as
A form of government in which the people have a voice in the exercise of power. Typically through elected representatives
(Concise Oxford dictionary definition:2011:page 381)
Trouble is politicians tend to define it by their own definition.
She can't ignore Parliament. Her job depends on it.
Fact is they don't understand why it's taken three years of secretive negotiations to come up with effectively, nothing(May's deal).
So i suspect there are moves afoot to either 'encourage' her to resign.
(They can't have a vote of no confidence within her party until December) OR maybe there are discussions with Labour so THEY put a motion of no confidence in the government and it gets support from all sides of the house thereby forcing a general election.

Maybe the UK Government is completely out of touch with the public, England had a vote to leave and the majority wanted to leave the EU. EU are worried if England leaves who will be next
The people voted to leave and So it is up to parliament to decide on this. If May really is ignoring the will of the people then she is in the wrong

I think Mrs May is actually very weak. But the formal position on Brexit is perfectly democratic. The previous parliament (elected by the people in our representative democracy) passed legislation that will result in the UK leaving the EU. It is open to the present parliament to repeal or amend that legislation, or to pass new legislation. If it doesn’t, parliament and everyone else must accept the consequences. If parliament merely expresses opinions, the government is perfectly entitled to ignore them. That may or may not be wise, but there is nothing undemocratic about it.

Theresa’s failure shows Parliament is too strong! Not like USA at all where the President can tweet war against Iran and rescind two minutes later!
