No caffeine. Plenty of exercise. Ashwagandha and l Theanine. Both natural supplements and over the counter.

@cuppatea Thanks! What about sweets?

@Melpomene Some people are more sensitive to glucose reactions. I have never been a sweets person - but, I do like carbs (which turns to glucose. You may want to try to limit them? Some people have had success doing Keto or Paleo (caveman type) diets that limit carbs. Everyone is so different 😊

I've grown out of alot of mine, however, it still plagues me. I typically have to turn on some atmospheric background music. Suppliments such as Ashwagandha seem to help a bit. Also, just closing my eyes and taking a deep breath help to clear my mind a bit. Otherwise, I stop and go for a quick walk. It helps to expell the extra energy.

@FrostBorne Ashwagandha works wonders. How much do you take and when??
FrostBorne · 31-35, M
@cuppatea I take one 800MG capsule in the mornings.
Self discipline. Organize your thoughts and be in the now. Keep a handle on the task at hand.

@Gypsy11 I'm sorry your children have it.
My reason for asking this is because I have this kinda important thing in less than 48 hours and I'm almost ready. I just can't control myself when the time comes and I definitely don't need to start overthinking and panicking because of that. I just need to calm down and focus at that moment but making it a habit in a day is obviously impossible.

@cuppatea 🤗 I understand that ''fake it til you make it'' works most of the time but it still needs quite some time and an incredible effort
cuppatea · 31-35, F
@Melpomene It takes a lot of effort for some of us to cope in this world -- exacerbated by constant critics and people who think they know what it's like.

Would it be appropriate for anyone to go up to an individual in a wheelchair and say ... You need to concentrate and learn to focus on walking!

We are all unique individuals with unique learning styles. Never feel inadequate by people seeking self recognition/approval.

@BlueClapTrap I think doctors are putting too many of diagnoses as illness due to a tradition that everything that's peculiar is wrong and before people knew how to hide it but nowadays it's much harder and it's kinda unnecessary to hide if you have *something*, the amount of stress per capita is much higher and it often triggers people.
