Self discipline. Organize your thoughts and be in the now. Keep a handle on the task at hand.

@Gypsy11 I apologize if I was rude but ADHD stands for attention deficit-hyperactivity syndrome and people with it usually have troubles focusing which makes other problems such as low productivity, anger problems, anxiety etc. Sorry but your comment sounded just like telling a depressed person to just ''not be depressed''. I'm still grateful and will try that as well :)
2 of my children have it. I'm very well educated on what it is. I have researched thoroughly. I'm alo an Occupational Therapist that works with children who have it. Self discipline and LEARNING how to control your fleeting thoughts is a process. It won't happen overnight and doesnt work for everyone.

@Gypsy11 I'm sorry your children have it.
My reason for asking this is because I have this kinda important thing in less than 48 hours and I'm almost ready. I just can't control myself when the time comes and I definitely don't need to start overthinking and panicking because of that. I just need to calm down and focus at that moment but making it a habit in a day is obviously impossible.

@Melpomene It takes a lot of effort for some of us to cope in this world -- exacerbated by constant critics and people who think they know what it's like.
Would it be appropriate for anyone to go up to an individual in a wheelchair and say ... You need to concentrate and learn to focus on walking!
We are all unique individuals with unique learning styles. Never feel inadequate by people seeking self recognition/approval.
