These aren't houses, they're fortresses!

Nix #1! Looks more like a prison than an "house" (the 3rd-story railing looks like razor wire). It even had a guard house. It also appears to be more facade than structure.

Nix #4 as well. It looks "buggy" and cold (stone facade and ivy plus multiple chimneys) What's with the high fences? A minimum security prison? (the "newly installed" dual-pane windows give it an "officey" look)

While the hacienda (#3) looks nice, it has too many trees too close to the buildings (extreme fire hazard). Said trees also drop excessive needles onto roof (fire hazard and a royal pain to keep clean). nix!

#2 looks rather quaint... on the outside (what's with all the Buddhas?). It's the vaulted ceiling I don't like (above the lounge). Blue cabinets in the kitchen? What were they thinking? Nice painting of a nude in the living area, though (former occupant?). The exterior views aren't the greatest (the above picture is very deceiving). I do like the exterior garden paths and stairs,however. 6-bedrooms, wood paneling... I'd choose this one (even though it does only have one bathroom).

Not fond of any of them. Number one is on the side of a mountain and we could easily fall off (observe what happens in California). Number two the majority of the living space looks to be on the second. Not sure I'd want to go upstairs all the time for everything. Number 3 spreads out too far. I Am Number Four looks too much like a castle without being a castle. Would prefer an actual castle, with secret passages.

Tough choice for me...2 or 3....ok, both live in 3 and 2 for my mountain retreat. 😜

I like 2 and 3...2 a bit better because of that wrap-around balcony.

The cabin in the woods. Although it's way too big for my taste.

The first 3 are too close to tall trees. A lightning bolt in an unfortunate night can destroy an entire wing of their house. Also the first one could gather mold under it, after rains and create smell and other problems.
Fourth one looks nice and big and expensive. xD

For me it's a toss up between #2 and #3...it would depend on which one had more of the amenities I wanted as to which one I'd choose. They are both beautiful homes in beautiful settings.

Number 4 is the most interesting but if I could have any house,I'd take anything designed by Greene and Greene.

Difficult choice to make as all of them in nature but all bigger than what i want. 4 as it suits my old soul.

No.2 because it looks the most secluded and private. Yet I liked all of them!👍️

3 please. I like the woods, but I am getting old, so no stairs would be good :)
