Could this be true?

I have a question. The Moon during the month of January will be blood red, for some reason. My question is this. In the ancient Biblical Prophecies, the blood red moon is a symbol of world wide disaster. Could this be true? What are your thoughts on it? Should we be worried?

Things are about to change.

People have been saying this for two thousand years, and the people before Christianity probably thought the same thing too. Somehow the world endures. @cherokeepatti

Not gonna argue, I’ve said what I believe will happen. Watch

There have been more red moons in the last ten years than usual for sure. It's just eclipsing but it only seems fitting to attach some kind of ominous superstition to it, since we are all becoming so fricking 'tribal' anyway!~ (I'm not excluding myself! My war paint stays on the dresser 24-7 these days.) Yes......it's an omen of coming catastrophe! OF COURSE THERE'S A CATASTROPHE COMING! WE ARE IT! I'm surprised it's taken so long!

@puck61 agree !! but brainwashing is deep and add to that : no history, no philosophy, no nothing but nonsense. And deep sense of entitlement. I just hope that the seeds I plant will germ when needed. There is a backlash already anyway and am glad.
@revenant They are ignoring the 'backlash' with all their might!

The moon has appeared red many times I didn't freak out then and won't now.

I think 2019 will see a lot of changes but I do not think the world will end in January
WeighedDown · 36-40, M
@revenant In August?
revenant · F
@WeighedDown you are impatient lol

@revenant many years ago I claimed the end of the world would start in August of 2019

I think we can relax. There have been a lot of biblical prophecies, as there were Mayan prophecies. Scholars are still arguing about them, but I don't believe the utterances of a so-called holy man from 2 to 5 thousand years ago are always true.

We no longer get all freaked out thinking red tides are an omen of evil, and I don't think we need to do the same about the light bouncing off the earth to illuminate the moon.

As per usual, we should prepare for disasters so that our families are protected, by making sure vehicles are packed with emergency survival kits and by making sure we have enough food and water for a week. (Floods, earthquakes, snowstorms, radiation leaks from nuclear plants). We should also keep coins or cash on hand in case electricity goes out and we can't access our funds.

Disaster happens red moon or not.
GlassDog · 41-45, M
We get a blood moon during most lunar eclipses and they're pretty common. Every few years or so. I'd say one was probably written into the Bible just like Halley's comet concides with the star of Bethlehem, if you do the maths.

Everything is uncertain, we don't know anything. Worrying is a waste of time as things will be as they are supposed to be.

🤔Whatever it may be,it won't be the end of the world, only and end to an age!😉

@puck61 🍻I always hope for the best for you as well my friend!!!🍻
@Spitbak I wish we could hoist a few pints together. I seriously do. I did some covert drinking on Christmas eve. Damn! I fecking 'love' alcohol! I hate this damned microscope I'm under all the time. I hate it with a passion.

😉We all do brother! I would kill to have a few with you as well my friend!🍻@puck61

blood moons happen during a lunar eclipse. they happen often enough to say that they can’t be correlated to disaster.

let’s keep it science and leave the mysticism far behind. 🙂

Biblical stories written before science was science.🤔

Well, no other biblical prediction has come true.
Mrjingleswilly · 51-55, M
Not really. A red moon is just a lunar eclipse, I’ve seen four and had no disasters.

And when the moon doesn't turn blood red in January.....?

difficult times are ahead
gmatthewb · 51-55, M
The colour of the moon has nothing to do with what will or will not happen. It's just foolish people thinking it means something because they have no idea why it really happens. The world kept going after the year 2000 and other so called end times.

I think the bi or is more of a commentary on human behaivor regardless of natural occurrences.
Spitbak · 56-60, M
🤔About 4 or 5 nights ago,did anyone notice a purple sky?
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
Nothing at all to worry about. It's a natural occurring event.
