Probably after he starts his 2nd term....these things take a while.
Nimbus · M
@smmartydude Good point!

windinhishair · 61-69, M
Never. They award the Nobel to people who actually accomplish something. And Trump won't even survive one term, let alone run again.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 It is clear that Kilmnik's actions are illegal. What exactly did Steele donate to the Republicans doing opposition research on Trump? What did he contribute? What were his expenditures to influence the election? To provide a service under contract for information doesn't appear to meet that definition of something of value given. We'll have to let the courts decide on that one, though he appears to be in a great legal position. But Kilmnik's actions are very clearly illegal, hence his indictment. That one is a no-brainer and shows the ties between the Trump campaign and the Russians who were working to unlawfully impact the election. And apparently they are still doing it in the run up to the mid-terms. I'm sure you'd have no problem if they were able to influence the election is such a way as to get both the House and the Senate to become Democratic this Fall. After all, in TrumpWorld, the Russians are our BFFs.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@windinhishair LOL, awesome spin job! I congratulate you, especially the part about continuing to impact the past Presidential election. Wonder how the courts are going to adjudge that one. If mueller had anything on anyone relating to interference with an election he would have been promoted to king for life by the democrat party. Kinda kicked over the apple cart when the Russians showed up in court asking for their Constitutional rights to see the relevant information relating to the indictment. Can not wait for Kilmnik to show up in court asking for the information on his indictment.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@sunsporter1649 I said the Russians are still interfering in our mid-term elections, which they are, according to Mueller. Trump ignores it because of what Putin has on him. What's the problem with the defendants getting the information on the indictment? The folks involved are already known, so it does nothing to Mueller's investigation to release their names to the defendants. Kilmnik has rights too, and he should exercise them if he so wishes. That's how the process works.

You do know Mueller is a life-long Republican, right? Appointed by a Republican who was himself appointed by Trump and approved by the Republican Senate. Hardly a Democratic King for life there.
For what lol? Korea? Lmao I swear so many people are so ignorant to that issue it’s not even funny

luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@Insomniac100 Venn diagrams of those ignorant of what actually happened at the “summit” and those of Trump supporters would have a lot of overlap.
shuhak · M
He'l get it as soon as he figures out how to award it to himself, (There is no one more deserving of a noodle piece prize than me. I have the biggest noodle ever. Let me tell you, there's no other oodle as big as mine. None. Zero.)
Nimbus · M
@shuhak I like noodles :)

Second term? 🤣
Nobel? 🤣
xSharp · 31-35, M
yes he deserves it because of his "extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples".

Woodrow Wilson got one despite admitting he ruined the country and apologized for it
xSharp · 31-35, M
@windinhishair apes do not live in lawlessness they have social hierarchy and politics just like us.. they make war just like us..

we live in ape like "lawlessness" as we speak

the only true law is the laws nature has placed before us, the only true justice is that we take for ourselves
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@xSharp Where is the Gorilla Supreme Court? Or the Ninth Bonobo Circuit Court? Is there an Orangutan Second Amendment?
xSharp · 31-35, M
@windinhishair at the top of the tree
He will award it to himself and declare any similar awards as fake
Nimbus · M
@TheSirfurryanimalWales Being omnipotent has it's rewards 😁
Gwangi · 46-50, M
@TheSirfurryanimalWales yes, that’s it. He will convince Fox News to set up an award show for reactionary dictators, the Snowbel Prize. He will have some competition!
MartinII · 70-79, M
I think the “liberals” in Stockholm will be trying hard to find an excuse not to award it to him at all.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MartinII So you completely blow off his bullying and personal attacks on the other nations as normal? Wow. I can assure you that they don't blow it off. Have you read any of the press in Canada, the UK, France, or Germany? They get it.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@windinhishair I have of course read the UK press, which is so biased against Trump it’s not worth reading. But in the present context, President Trump’s conduct at the summit is not relevant to his eligibility or otherwise for the Nobel Peace prize.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MartinII His aberrant behavior is absolutely relevant, and disqualifies him from winning a Nobel.
walabby · 61-69, M
First, he has to get through the primaries, then the election, before there's a second term.
Second, if you are referring to the N Korea talks, shouldn't we wait to see if that actually does result in peace?
Nimbus · M
@walabby True.
Just a forecast.
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
Per Wikipedia :

"According to Nobel's will, the Peace Prize shall be awarded to the person who in the preceding year "shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses"."
Nimbus · M
@TrunkZ Wow, it's a given then.
TrunkZ · 56-60, M
@Nimbus I'm thinking that if he stays the course a nobel prize could happen for him in his third term 😬
smiler2012 · 56-60
nimbus 😄now if was the knob end prize trump would be the perfect candidate
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
🤔I wonder why there's no emoji for a man opening a door, yelling something inflamatory and closing it again as the room explodes !
Nimbus · M
smiler2012 · 56-60
nimbus if it was a no ability prize apart from being a prat he would be a perfect candidate for it and I would even endorse it
Nimbus · M
Graylight · 51-55, F
smiler2012 · 56-60
nimbus what for taking the peace during his term in office but credit where credit is due I am glad sense has prevailed and him and kim jong un are talking and being more constructive in maintaining peace and improving there two countries relationships
Nimbus · M
@smiler2012 There ya go!
No other President has done so much for peace with NK.
smiler2012 · 56-60
nimbus far as trump goes that is praise you not expect
MrAboo · 36-40, M
He probably should be, but he won’t be most likely
AbbeyRhode · F
Anything is possible. 😊
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode It's looking positive 😉
walabby · 61-69, M
@AbbeyRhode Yeah. They gave Jimmy Carter one for giving N Korea two nuclear reactors, and thus the ability to make nuclear weapons.. :D
Gwangi · 46-50, M
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
The Nobel peace prize is largely a farce.
Especially since there is nearly ALWAYS a nomination from WITHIN the White House for the U.S.President.
Nimbus · M
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
It will be a joke prize if he does. And I hope he does not get elected again.
Nimbus · M
@AlmostAnAngel But IF peace persists surely he qualifies?
AlmostAnAngel · 100+, F
@Nimbus so before we were saying that Kim was no serious threat because we could wipe them even before it started....and now a meeting between two dictators constitutes he made peace with North Korea..get real.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@AlmostAnAngel Seen any rockets over Japan lately? Just askin.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
he has to do something presidential first...

how can one accomplish that being in the seat of the chief all this time already?
Nimbus · M
@sighmeupforthat Give it time :)
SW-User
xSharp · 31-35, M
@nedkelly exactly! lol, if obama got one trump def should get one.. :)

they hand em out like candy
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Nimbus If you look closely you will discover that the previous President was the only President in our history who was at war every single day of his administration.
Nimbus · M
@sunsporter1649 Good point.
Stranger things have happened, but this one I doubt.
Nimbus · M
@MistyCee It will be interesting, no doubt.
