Do you think Donald Trump will be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize before or after he starts his second term as President ?

I think the “liberals” in Stockholm will be trying hard to find an excuse not to award it to him at all.

@MartinII They don't need to find an excuse. Trump has provided all they need already.

@windinhishair I agree.

@windinhishair I’m afraid you’ll need to explain that one! 🤔

@MartinII I see you missed the G7 Summit, and his "cooperation" with other nations and strengthening international diplomacy. Nothing he did promoted peace or cooperation in any way, shape, or form.

@windinhishair No, I didn’t miss the G7 summit. But the subject of any Nobel Peace award would, of course, be a possible peace and disarmament agreement with North Korea. And, of course, President Trump’s main contribution to the G7 summit was to argue for Russia’s readmittance. Controversial, certainly, but hardly contrary to the pursuit of peace.

@MartinII So you completely blow off his bullying and personal attacks on the other nations as normal? Wow. I can assure you that they don't blow it off. Have you read any of the press in Canada, the UK, France, or Germany? They get it.

@windinhishair I have of course read the UK press, which is so biased against Trump it’s not worth reading. But in the present context, President Trump’s conduct at the summit is not relevant to his eligibility or otherwise for the Nobel Peace prize.

@MartinII His aberrant behavior is absolutely relevant, and disqualifies him from winning a Nobel.
