No. For your own safety, don’t ask me for directions. I’ll try to be helpful but trust me when I say I don’t know.

One of my favorite times I asked for directions was when I had been living here for about a week: A helpful pleasant man told me to proceed two blocks, turn right at the light and cross the bridge. “Once you’ve crossed the bridge, ask somebody else for the rest.”
