Now me I have drove to Tennessee by myself. Now growing up we did go to Kansas and Texas and we went to Florida. We even took the train once and went up there by the Great lakes to see a uncle
Isafjdour Iceland at 66N. Some point on that cruise I got a certificate to say I passed over the Arctic Circle. Furthest place south was the Canary Islands.
Fairbanks Alaska or A place called Tungsten in the Northwest Territories of Canada. Not sure which one is further north. Tierra Del Fuego at the southern tip of south America
Farthest south I've been is Phoenix, Arizona. In August. Would not recommend.
Farthest north I've been was a guest ranch in British Columbia. Absolutely gorgeous country, lots of amazing stuff to do. My mom got to go on a cattle drive while my dad and I went fishing.
@ViciDraco Canada's most southerly point of inhabited land is Pelee Island which lies at 41N, which is 138 miles further south than Niagara Falls, considering Niagara Falls is right at the Canada/US border. Pelee Island is in the middle of Lake Erie near it's western end.
@swirlie I grew up on Lake Eerie. Well about a 30 minute drive from it. When we visited the falls we actually circled the lake. Headed up and entered at the Detroit/Windsor area then returned home on the US side.
Looks like Pelee Island is just north of Cedar Point (which is really the only thing Ohio has going for it at the moment).
@bluegrasslover I was in northern Sweden and adjacent to the border with Finland just this past summer! I went there to visit a friend of mine on her parent's dairy farm who's also a member of SW (@SandWitch). I'll tell her that you were there!
