What's the farthest north and south you have ever been?

It is very scenic.

I also got to walk on a snowfield -- in July.

Yes: bighorn sheep, mountain goats, marmots, birds, and elk. One trail was closed due to a grizzly bear siting.

@JoyfulSilence Wow. Maybe in 2026. I'd have to have someone drive so I could stick my huge lens out the roof.

They have iconic red tour buses, but you might need to reserve a ride well in advance.


I think even now you need a timed entry pass to drive your car. It was not like that when I was there in 2015, though.
