Cesme in Izmir Turkey and Cocoa Beach, FL are my two faves. Cesme is white quartz sand. beautiful. and cocoa beach is just phenomenal. beautiful light clear blue green water and nice sand perfect for drawing pictures in.

I adore the big wide sand at Hilton Head in S Carolina. I love Gunnasin in NJ, but not for the sand. Cayman island also has spectacular beaches.

Beautiful beaches are to be found throughout the word - from personal experience Hong Kong’s outer islands have wonderful ones as does Western Australia like Bunker Bay 🙂

All down the west coast of Harris, (Luskentyre especially) plus the west coast of Berneray is really just one long sandy beach. The same applies to North Uist.

@VelvetDoll No further north and west ... Harris, Berneray, North Uist. Also the very north west on the mainland ... beaches such as Oldshoremore and Sandwood Bay are very beautiful.

@polyandrym66 I just checked the Kaanapali beach on Google. It looks great, but would even look greater without those big buildings. It's a shame how the human being tends to take advantage of the nature for financial reasons...
