All down the west coast of Harris, (Luskentyre especially) plus the west coast of Berneray is really just one long sandy beach. The same applies to North Uist.

@MartinII Yes it's lovely as well but you have to see the beaches on the Outer Hebrides to realise just how beautiful they are.

@maturemum Yes, I have seen many of them. Luskentyre is especially beautiful as you say. I also climbed the Beinn through a cloud of midges!
