I think sometimes the hardest thing is just wondering how I would be if it hadn't happened. Would I be completely different, more outgoing less outgoing. Would I have been betting in school. Would I have better luck with boyfriends.
I've asked myself that same question. I feel like if I wasn't molested by my sister maybe I wouldn't so screwed up. If my parents weren't so strict and let me live as teen maybe I'd have a career and a home now. Anxiety and depression is the result of what they did to me. I just do the best I can for now and seek therapy for healing.
Don't waste yourself wondering. Create what you want in your life and you'll be happy. Keep looking forward. If you keep looking in the rearview mirror, you'll never move forward or get your life in order. We don't live in the past. That's dead and cannot be changed, but we can change our future to anything we want. Dream it and you can do it. Don't waste any more valuable time. Life is too precious to waste. It is a gift and attitude means everything.
There's no point dwelling on "what ifs". We'll never know. We might think that if we had tried X instead of Y, then things would be so much better, but in fact they could have ended much worse... we'll never know, there's no point try to guess what could have happened...
You talk about it so that's good. Just don't obsess over it as that will depress you. At this point just focus on the present and don't be axious about the future.

I haven't seen so much life in anyone before, you have a that sense of humour that can make anyone laugh...
I think it might be better to reflect upon what your lessons from your life is and what your needs and wishes are where you want to be in life and then act upon it, e.g. putting it into practice....instead of always wondering

While I think we all take time wondering about what i call the "road less traveled" there comes a time you need to say goodbye to the past and just move forward. you never know what good things are waiting!
