Where are your scars?

I was 4 years old when I fell into a burning ash pit while playing and walking backwards.

I can remember my dad lifting me up and bringing me to his cousin who was a doctor. My right foot was swollen but it didn't hurt when it got treated.

My grandmother put oil over it for months but after 5 decades, still conspicuous.

I have two scars both ok my head.

One just under my hair line on my forehead where a childhood game went wrong and I cut my head.

The second is on the back of my head where an aircraft panel locking arm hadn’t been secured correctly and gust of wind caused the panel door hit me while was completing a safety check. The scar can only be seen when I’m getting a hair cut.

@1Dogma Sadly not, I was very awake for the pain, the bleeding everywhere and the stitches that followed.

I had headaches for weeks afterwards but no lasting damage thankfully.

@AdmiralPrune awww… sorry about that excruciatingly bad experience, but you survived it all. That's the silver lining.

@mysteryespresso yes, the scarred skin reminds me whenever I put on my shoes.
@1Dogma When I was in school, I was riding my bike when a lady suddenly appeared in the middle of the road. I had to apply the brakes, and I ended up with some marks on my hands. They're still visible to this day.

@mysteryespresso The marks made the event unforgettable.
