How did you get that cool scar?

was climbing a tree when i was 5. holding onto a branch, about to pull myself up and the branch broke...I went plummeting down. The tree i was climbing...it had another broken part at the base and i landed on that, right on my cheek.

went to mom, told her what happened. She said I needed stitches. I freaked out and said I just needed a band-aid (they made everything better back then)....but nope, i got stitches....

I got it in Nam ...

Hit my upper lip agains a coffee table in the midst of a laughing fit when I was 4 years old.

You can’t see it, but I grew up out in the middle of nowhere, family had a big property with a huge canyon in it. My brother and I would always go exploring and hiking in it. A giant tree had fell and crossed part of a canyon wall, we would use it as a bridge and realized part of it was over a giant sand pit. Every day we would jump into the sand pit about 15 feet down. One day I apparently had my tongue hanging out into the side of my mouth, my knees hit my chin and my teeth slammed into my tongue, my tongue split down the middle like a snakes forked tongue. I had to go to the ER and have them stitch it back together. I had stitches in my mouth for a week or so. There’s 100% a scar, but it’s hard to tell because it is the literal natural center split of the tongue.

It's not really a cool scar. It's a keloid scar. It's the way the skin heals from being cut on my chest.
