Do you worry about the world we are leaving for our children ?

nedkelly · 61-69, M
It could be better to be honest, lets get rid of political correctness, TWO GENDERS only, two terms maximum for government officials, stick the electric cars as 95% of people cannot afford them, stick to using coal power for electricity and make politicians go to jail if they lie in office

Plus no Liverpool supporters allowed

@nedkelly what ned the scousers are already filling the jail cells before you can get on crooked politician in a cell 😆
4meAndyou · F
I did not, at first. My son, who is unable to have children anyway, once expressed to me that he does not regret it, because he would not want to bring a child into such a world as this...but since he is sort of a leftie, I think he meant global warming and so on.

I am sad and feel frightened for the future of other children in my family, who will have to fight these culture wars, and whose grandchildren might languish in American soil based concentration camps, governed by the Chinese.

@4meAndyou Good point.
happypickle · 31-35, F
Poisoning our planet started a long time ago, polution from our industrial revolution/first and second world wars/ coal /oil/demise of rain forests. The list is endless. Human greed has no boundries.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
I do. A lot of our trees are being cut down. Many trees have diseases that kill them. A lack of trees changes the environment in drastic ways.
Nimbus · M
@SweetMae Yes and they are not being replaced at a sufficient rate.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
I do. I feel awful for the world we live in now. They make travel difficult. There are food shortages, and they plan for everyone to own no property. They are sterilizing our children with their propaganda. There is evil running this world.
@Carissimi these evil governments create food shortages and fake pandemics, all while driving up the prices of gas to pay for electric vehicles. Truly a sick world
Carissimi · 70-79, F
It’s all manufactured crisis. It’s to bring us to our knees, so that the WEF, and their useful idiots can make themselves seem like our saviors, but at the same time take all our freedoms, and our property. @Stargazer89
@Carissimi they've been seeing who the sheep are, who will blindly follow. Sadly it's a lot of people. Not surprisingly, a lot of leftists. They are still scared of an overblown covid flu and not once dare question people like fauci. I saw a shirt saying "in fauci we trust" absolutely disgusting. He's being viewed as a god
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
The planet will heal itself. 🌎
Nimbus · M
@FloorGenAdm I hope so.
AbbeyRhode · F
@Nimbus For the past year and a half.
Look at what's happening. We had the best economy ever, a secure border, energy independence, and a President who loves this country. Then the Commies seized power, our rights are disappearing, the economy is horrible, we are facing food shortages, and our "leadership" is the laughingstock of the world. And it's only going to get worse.
Nimbus · M
@AbbeyRhode Good point.
It's looking bleak.
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
@AbbeyRhode i totally agree!
Lilymoon · F
Well it definitely won't be good.... 😦

DCarey · 46-50, M
I can't be responsible for what 7 billion other people are doing.
ShadowWorker · 61-69, F
Yes. And I am worried about our children's teachings!!
SW-User
Yes..it keeps me up at night
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Awwwww :(
Of course. It's not going to be habitable or comfortable, and conservatives will definitely make sure. Then, conservatives still have the regimes- and the wars will go on forever. People should not try to live, anymore because conservatives will make it pure Hell.
Jinxie · 51-55, F
I think as we age, all generations fear this. I’m hopeful we will leave the world better. More hopeful that as our children become adults, they create a better way to live than we have.
@Jinxie the silent generation did not say these things. Nor did the Edwardian generations, despite being mowed down in the trenches of WWI to prevent socialism. They had a future they wanted.
MethDozer · M
@Roundandroundwego the silent generation definately said that
@MethDozer worries about the world they'd leave? That's not even in the book! -" How to Win Friends and Influence People" -. Their bible.
Say, nuclear war comes up -. Ice cream,! Trees! Fruit pie!

@Nimbus hopefully humanity will keep progressing despite the ignorance that seems to be ever increasing
Yes, all the superficial things dont matter. Eating, shelter, and caring about family, community are Supreme.

Yes. It's why I'm glad I don't have any and why I don't want any.
