I’m really wondering if people are making up perceptions of who they believe I am over singular not so polished moments

So you think that one mistake or bad judgment call is my whole personality?

Anyway they can think what they want but it’s still frustrating.

Folks are generally multi-faceted. Maybe the other person... Has a very small selection of interests and not much else?

Small perspective. Small conclusions. Like that people are one-sided.
