I have stopped caring about fairness

When it comes to opposing opinions, if you are wrong, I couldn't care less about giving you equal floor time. Your opinions don't deserve or warrant respect or attention. The fact that one may think they do tells me they don't understand the power of words, therefore, they have no idea what weapon they are weilding.

A weapon in an untrained hand is dangerous.

Ergo, an opinion of an untrained person is dangerous and does not deserve to be heard.

Period.

And thus another opportunity to train someone to understand there can be opposing viewpoints without either side being absolutely right or wrong. Failure to listen is the biggest downfall in communication; the equivalent of falling upon that weapon you are wielding.

@samueltyler2 Thats easy. You use that person as a teaching moment for others. You are never going to convert them. But those who read the comments may be persuaded by your argument if you make it a logical ,clear narrative.😷

@dancingtongue the problem is, often times, there are definite wrong sides who think they are right and deserve to be heard when they don't. These are the ones I'm talking about. Communication and listening does not fix this situation. Refusal to engage does.

Not every opinion needs to be heard.

@whowasthatmaskedman i agree but that person isn't me. I don't have the energy or patience to deal with these people. I know that it is best to leave that for someone who has what it takes.
