Why do some married people need so much attention and validation online?

Maybe they want transparency in their marriage which would include sharing online accounts.
We are all aware of the shenanigans of the internet, so if it helps them build their trust with one another then that is actually a good thing.

I don't understand the couples accounts or the wife sharing crowd personally.
