After October of this year Windows 10 will not be updated and considered useless, I will have to replace my desktop for this reason because it is not windows 11 updatable.
The reason it is slow is because it is loaded up with junk... maybe the odd trojan horse too. Take your CPU to a computer store and have the hard drive wiped clean electronically. It takes about 20 minutes to complete and the service is sometimes free... it is at all Apple stores for sure. I do that about once a year to my laptop.
When was the last time you cleared your data and cache, or used any sort of cleaner? I recomment CCleaner by Piriform, it does a great job, plus the basic program is free to download and use.
@NativePortlander1970 I don't believe i ever have or if i did it was long ago and i can't remember. Ill have to try that out and see if that helps. I'm defragging it currently to see if that helps. Admittedly I am not tech savvy.
