Do you think age defines maturity?
I dont think it does and it really makes me mad when somebody stops talking to me because they find out im so young :|

On certain subjects-yes. Age defines maturity, or experience rather. That is not to say you aren't highly intelligent or capable of understanding.
There are two kinds of people. Readers and Writers. Readers have experience through the views of writers. Writers have the experience and live to tell it to readers. They are symbiotic.

@PartTimeModel: i was just thinking about "experience" and "experiences" - example, a syrian child refugee may have terrible experiences, but not have the experience to understand them.

It makes me sad when a young person assumes that my being older means I have nothing more to contribute to the world. And I have been told as much. I've become cautious engaging in conversations with younger people whom I don't know, because of such experiences.

Ah but when someone gives me a degrading nickname or won't listen to me because of my age yeah. not everyone wants to learn what you specifically have to give and some would rather learn from their mistakes rather than prevent themselves from making any in the first place...ugh
